The Studio

The Live Room

The final stage of the studio’s development was the building of our new live room in 2021. We worked with acoustician Dr Douglas Doherty to create a great sounding space with plenty of height and room to play with. With a gorgeous parquet floor throughout, the room is a fantastic sounding space for recording drums, or any acoustic instruments, and is large enough to record large groups of musicians live. The space is also very flexible and with the use of our large purpose built acoustic gobos, we can quickly create smaller, controlled recording areas for vocals or voiceover work when required.

The Control Room

Very much at the heart of things, our acoustically treated control room looks through to our main live room via a large soundproofed window. The room has been carefully set-up to be an accurate listening space and features excellent monitoring from our PMC speakers. Alongside the mixing desk and our analogue outboard units, we have an ever growing selection of musical toys to experiment with during your session. There's also a comfy sofa for mid-session lounging.

Other facilities

The studio has presentable toilets and a small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine etc. We’re very close by to a large supermarket and there’s some decent pubs and takeaway food options nearby.
