Professional Recording Studio in Cambridge, Within An hour of North London

Half-ton is a great option for London bands and artists who want to squeeze a bit more out of their recording budget without compromising on quality. We welcome many London bands and musicians at the studio who (quite frankly!) appreciate getting a great all-round studio experience for much less than you would pay at an equivalent London studio. If your looking to get out of the city and record we’re located just an hour away from the North Circular and are very happy to help you find cheap accommodation nearby if you want to make a trip of it. Available as a dry hire (just the studio) or with a skilled, experienced engineer.

  • At Half-ton you’ll find knowledgeable and creative engineers, great-sounding rooms, top-quality microphones and some of the best analogue outboard equipment available.

    We use a large-format Audient ASP 8024 recording console, combined with the latest digital audio workstation software including Pro Tools 12, Ableton Live, Logic and Studio One. Our clients get a high-quality recording experience, experienced guidance and fantastic value for money.
